Panasonic MC-CG301 Canister Vacuum Cleaner is small, lightweight, cheap, relatively strong and easy to use vacuum cleaner, very handy to have around. It doesn’t have performance of bigger, stronger and much more expensive vacuums, but it does it’s job.

Panasonic MC-CG301 Canister Vacuum Cleaner combines good performance with a small and compact design. This canister vacuum cleaner helps to keep the house clean from top to bottom by simply being around and being ready to be used as needed – in ’emergencies’ (pet owners and small kids parents know what I mean) or according to cleaning schedule. The unit is very light – around 10 lbs (4.5kg – depending what one weigh) and comes equipped with a heavy-duty, decently strong 11 amp motor and a 12-inch-wide cleaning nozzle that allows for covering more surface area in less time.
Although cleaning nozzle is wide (12 inches, 305 mm), it is not powered, so on the carpets you will need more sweeps to get things clean – not a good news for pet owners.
If you really have need for deep cleaning of carpets and similar areas, you will need one strong, big, heavy and expensive vacuum cleaner for regular cleaning, for example on weekly basis. Panasonic MC-CG301 is great as second vacuum cleaner – very easy to use, decent performance, not loud (but not the quietest around!), good air filtering, easy to move around … and cheap! :o)
 In addition to suction power, this canister vacuum cleaner also provides a blower port. Attach the unit’s 6-foot hose to the blower port and remove dust and dirt from hard-to-reach nooks and crannies or for blowing debris outdoors.

Button on the left – a single touch activates the cord-rewind mechanism making storage fast, easy and convenient. Button on the right – power on/off switch. Don’t call me lazy, but on vacuum cleaners, I like to have power on/off on the handle or that I can, at least, turn it off with my foot :o) It is little bit harder on this model to hit power off switch with first kick, but after few times, it is not hard to master :o) |
Also, other attachments include a crevice tool and a 6-foot metal wand for sucking up dirt and crumbs from between couch cushions and other tight spots, as well as for extended reach back into corners and under couches, beds, and other furniture.
Panasonic MC-CG301 Canister Vacuum Cleaner – highly recommended for anybody needing small and lightweight second vacuum cleaner. For small homes with no fury pets, this vacuum cleaner is great ‘entry level’ vacuum cleaner.
