GreenWorks 24322 G-Max Features and Specifications
For a cordless leaf blower and vacuum, it is rather powerful unit and can handle both wet and dry leaves, although really heavy wet leaves could be a problem.
Maximum air speed in blower mode is 185 mph (~300 km/h) and maximum air volume is 340 CFM (cubic feet per minute).
As a vacuum cleaner, it can mulch rather large quantities of leaves and store them in the bag – bag capacity is 1.2 bushel (~11.2 US gallons, ~42.3 liters).
According to the manufacturer, it is possible to collect up to 4.5 bags of leaves on a single 4.0 Ah battery charge. Also, such battery can operate up to 60 minutes on low power setting.
In the real life, don’t expect such results, but nonetheless, for a cordless unit, it can do more than a decent job on a single charge, using 4.0 Ah battery. It is possible to use smaller battery with capacity of 2.0 Ah, but its operating time, especially on full throttle is suitable only for the smaller gardens and lawns.
Charging time of 2.0 Ah battery is ~1 hour and charging time of 4.0 Ah battery is ~2 hours. If you have larger area to cover, having one spare 4.0 Ah battery is highly recommended.
GreenWorks 24322 G-MAX uses digital cordless motor which is very quiet and efficient, with minimum vibrations. Entire unit is well made, except that impeller could be made of metal, but that would increase the weight slightly and perhaps increase the load on the motor, at least when starting.
Switching between the blower/vacuum modes can be done without tools rather quickly, just be sure to fasten the parts tightly. Power setting is variable and easily adjusted as needed – using the unit on maximum setting can shorten operating life on the single charge, so decrease the power as required by the debris.

Although GreenWorks 24322 G-MAX unit is easy to use, just to be sure, before the first use read the manual. Always, but really always before using it as a blower, be sure that the impeller cover is closed/latched, otherwise the unit will not work.
If the cover is not closed and the unit still works, that means that there is something wrong with the unit and that there is a very high risk of injuries from the impeller – stop the unit and take it to the licensed repair shop.
Long story short – GreenWorks 24322 G-MAX provides cordless operation without the noise and the gas fumes of gas powered garden leaf blowers/vacuums. It has more than enough power do its job, just be sure to set the power setting as needed, or the battery will not last very long.
If you already have GreenWorks tools and their (newer) 40V lithium batteries and the battery charger, consider bare tool only. If you don’t have the charger and the batteries, consider this unit with the charger and 4.0 Ah battery.
