According to the official Dyson’s website, Dyson Articulating Hard Floor Tool fits all Dyson canister and upright vacuum cleaners (with extension hoses).
Tool is easy to maneuver around the furniture, edges and similar obstacles. It features two pivoting points and has an ultra-slim profile – thanks to the two independent pivoting points, Articulating Hard Floor Tool keeps an optimum position on the floor, regardless of the wand’s angle, while small dimensions help in cleaning hard-to-reach areas.
One of the interesting features are two curtains of bristles. While the first set of bristles removes large debris from the floor, the second set seals the tool to prevent suction leaking.

Thanks to its width, tool can cover and clean large area quickly, just be sure that vacuum’s suction is adequate.
Tool is replaced easily and thanks to the locking mechanism, it stays firmly on the wand or hose.
Tool has no moving parts and bristles are designed to last. Thanks to the bristles, hard floor tool feels like a small broom with additional suction. It gently glides over the floor and picks everything, including smaller rocks and pet hair.
Note: if the tool is pushed/pulled too fast, it can push smaller stones and rocks away, instead of vacuuming them. Also, over time, some of the pet and human hairs tend to stuck on the bristles, but they are cleaned easily.
