BV5600 is equipped with the 12 amp motor which provide enough power to achieve maximum air speed of 250 mph.
Unit has two 2 speed selections, but since it is electric, finer tuning is easily achievable, but not present. Maybe in some other version …
At lower speed setting, unit can achieve air speed of around 180 mph.

Changing between vacuum and blower is easy and quick and requires no tools. Just be sure to unplug the unit during the mode change – better safe than sorry.
BV5600 is equipped with ‘High Impact Metal Fan’ which prevents clogging when vacuuming and mulching. According to the manufacturer, it ‘can grind up to 16 bags of mulch down to one’. Collection bag can hold around 1.5 bushels (around 50 liters) of debris.
In real life, even with very sharp blades, it is unreal to expect such efficiency, but in the end, this unit will surely do its job properly.
Pivoting nozzle helps loosen leaves and debris for faster clean up during vacuuming. Lower speed is suitable for sensitive areas and surfaces, while higher speed will easily remove fallen leaves and even smaller branches.
Again, continuous variable speed control would be great.
Noise levels during operation are acceptable – around 68 dB. Good for corded electric unit, noisier than cordless units and quieter than gas operated units.
